Why Tweaking Windows XP? There's a lot of reason why we should tweak our Windows XP. You know that XP came in a standard massive package for the sake of massive people around the world. So there would be Services, Startups, Registries and others, to fulfill massive needs of the people. These standard settings that XP have, sometime make the computer runs slow. That why most of us need to tweak it that our PC runs relatively faster.

This posting is an addition the the article that I wrote before in http://digitalenquirer.blogspot.com/2008/08/tweaking-windows-xp-using-freeware.html . But it's more for gaming purpose. I use a freeware utility called GameXP to tweak something on my PC. So that the game should run smoothly. Game XP is intended to optimize the performance of your computer for gaming needs. It tweaks and modifies various XP settings (cache settings, CPU priority etc.) and optionally disables or stops several Windows services that are usually not needed. The program does not require any installation, and does not need to be running at all times. Game XP extends your operating system's capabilities and makes Windows faster and comfortable for maximum gaming experience.

CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool.
